Besides the Bronte connection Stanbury embraces the
Pennine Way, close at hand is the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway
and literally over the hill is 'Last of the Summer Wine'
country.
Walking enthusiasts will be well suited, Stanbury is in
Airedale and is right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake
District is less than an hour to the North.
The ancient City of
York, Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, Harewood House and many, many other
places of interest in both Yorkshire and Lancashire are all well within
reach of the cottage.
